Louie ‘Terror Babies’ Gohmert Says Obama Administration Filled with Muslim Brotherhood Members

Republican Congressman Louie “Terror Babies” Gohmert of East Texas is once again showing that he’s a master of reckless smears and idiotic statements in the U.S. House of Representatives. On Thursday, speaking on the radio program for the kooky fringe website World Net Daily, Rep. Gohmert accused the Obama administration of “trying to help terrorists” and charged that the administration is filled with members of the Muslim Brotherhood:

“It’s very clear to everyone but this administration that radical Islam is at war against us. I’m hoping either this administration will wake up, or a new one will come in at the next election before irreparable damage is done. This administration has so many Muslim Brotherhood members that have influence that they just are making wrong decisions for America.”

It’s surprising that someone can stoop so low and stay balanced on two feet. You can read more from the interview on the World Nut Daily website here.

I have looked. I wasn’t surprised. But I am surprised, Elektra, that your name is suspiciously similar to the nickname of a person I once knew who was in the KKK. Was that you? Shame on you for being in the KKK.

  • Before denouncing, you should perhaps do your homework and look at all the appointed czars’ backgrounds….you might be surprised.

Who would’ve guessed that Ken Langham would be a flag-waving, Bible-thumping, gay-hating, gold standard-promoting, nearly illiterate secessionist?

Oh, and he’s a Fox News fan. Surprise!

    Ken, are you doing satire?

    What are “falices”?

Louie Gohmert is a moron, he makes people who are stupid look intelligent. His is one of the singularly worst services in Congress. More than Michele Bachman he espouses such idiotic conspiracy theories that even Michele looks normal. I find his spurious claims of the infiltration of our government by the Muslim Brotherhood to border on the most insane fears imaginable.

But what is even scarier than Louie serving in Congress is the fact that he continues to be elected by the constituents if the Congressional district he serves. What does this say about the people who keep electing him to Congress?

Louie Gohmert”s comments such that “It’s very clear to everyone but this administration that radical Islam is at war against us.” Has a HOPE someone will listen to him. Gohmert sounds like Michele Backmann who has NOT Credibility today. Too that the only ‘irreparable damage that is being done’ is what Gohmert himself is doing to his credibility. I pleased to address the fact that there are many Americans who have the Muslim relgion and are serving within our American Congress right now who are American citizens and if not being able to serve all Americans, then, Mr. Gohmert needs to silently steal away and get out of office and go back to Texas. Texas civil servants seem all to be one of the worst of the fax politicians and Gohmert should count himself as indeed many of those that represent Texas. Tell me please, Mr. Gohmert, what influences have you offered since you reached Washington, and what good decisions have been been making rather than setting up Glenn Beck and Michele Bachmann crap, which discrimiates against other Americans who may work in President Obama’s adminstration? The timeframe I’ve been alive, serving in military, and have watched what any presidential administration from Texas, has ever performed has been the worst than what any American with the religion, other than Christian beliefs, has ever tried to do. Bush and his adminstration hurt more that 4,444 Americans in two wars, all of whom had many religions. Mr. Gohmert, You need to go back to Texas and stay there. I have to live in Texas, but I don’t have to agree with anything that goes against other American’s rights or your blant lies. GO HOME and stay there.

  • Charles says:

Well, if that’s the case Ben, I am feeling a bit nervous for the safety of her…uh…his sheep, and I ain’t talkin’ about their prospects for getting lost.

  • Ben says:

As long as we’re making unsubstantiated claims, I understand Louie likes to dress up as Little Bo Peep. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

  • Coragyps says:

“or a new one will come in at the next election”

One wonders if Louie is familiar with the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution? Probably not, I’m guessing….

  • Doc Bill says:

I think Gohmert the Coward should name names!

Put up or shut up, Louie!

  • Charles says:

This is just plain silly. Radical Islam may be at war with us, but we pretty much figured out from 2000 to 2008 that sending armies to the Middle East was largely ineffective and went a long way towards bankrupting our country. Oh, if it were only true that a massive NATO Block vs. Soviet Block style ground war would end fundamentalist Islam terrorism once and for all in one fell swoop.

The problem in this country is that both the extreme right and their idiot brothers on the Reigious Right are still stuck in 1950s and 1960s old white guy thinking. These old white guys need to learn the reality in the song. “You can always go home but you can never go back.” Give it a listen:

Conspiracy theories like this may disempower people and incline people to assert power through violence. http://bit.ly/15L9kN4
