The Week in Quotes (Aug. 19 – 25)

Here are some of the week’s most notable quotes culled from news reports from across Texas, and beyond.

Rep. Todd Akin, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Missouri, attempting to justify his opposition to abortion rights even in case of rape with a claim that victims of “legitimate rape” have unnamed biological defenses that prevent pregnancy.
